Synopsis
​
A story of uprootedness and belonging. Of self-discovery and rage. What exactly would drive a boy from art school to leave his home in Klaipeda (Lithuania), to end up as a girl selling her body in the streets of Berlin, in sweaty back rooms, and on the sticky seats of a porn movie theatre? For more than 10 years photographer and filmmaker J. Jackie Baier follows transsexual Julia K. from Klaipeda through her uncompromising life as a hooker, outlaw and nonconformist.
